Are these extensions free?
The extensions listed so far are free to install and use, with no account required. Each extension page states its pricing and browser support exactly as shipped — including any curated tool that differs.
Do the extensions upload my data anywhere?
The extensions we build ourselves process everything locally — recordings, captures and annotations never leave your device unless you share the exported files yourself. Third-party tools we curate are held to the same documentation standard: their page states exactly what data they handle and where it goes.
Which browsers are supported?
Most tools here are built for Chrome, and some also run on Edge and other Chromium-based browsers. Each extension page lists the exact browsers it has been tested on.
Do you list extensions from other developers?
The collection starts with tools we build ourselves and grows with third-party extensions we test and can vouch for. When a page documents someone else's extension, it says so explicitly — there are no paid placements.
Why does every extension page list limitations?
Because every extension has them. Knowing where a tool stops working is part of deciding whether to install it, so we document limits with the same care as features.
