Who we are

We are a small team of extension developers. The library combines tools we build and maintain ourselves with third-party extensions we test and document — every entry gets real attention: updates, honest docs and reproducible testing on released builds. Everything written here is based on our own testing of the shipped versions, including the cases that did not work. When a page documents someone else's extension, it says so explicitly.

The tools we build are local-first: captures, recordings and annotations are processed in your browser and are not uploaded anywhere. Curated tools state their data handling on their own pages. See the privacy policy for the details, per tool.

Editorial principles

The rules every page on this site is written under — the same ones quoted in the editorial disclosure at the bottom of each article and extension page.

• Document as shipped

  Every feature listed is in the released version today. Roadmap items and aspirations stay off the page until they ship.

• Tested before listed

  We install and use every extension on its released build — ours and third-party alike — before it gets a page here. No paid placements.

• State the limits

  Each extension page carries a limitations section written with the same care as the feature list. A tool you understand is a tool you can trust.

• Compare neutrally

  Where alternatives exist, we table them honestly — including the rows they win. If no option fits, we say so.

• No invented trust

  No fabricated user counts, ratings or press quotes. If we cannot back a claim with something real, it does not appear.
